Want to get your romance on with Persona 5's awesome cast of characters? This guide is here to tell you exactly what you need to do to win the hearts of a bunch of the game's female characters. Sadly, there's no option for same-gender romances, but there are a wide number of different girls, each with vastly different personalities for you to woo. While for many of them, the path you need to take is fairly easy, this is not the case for all of them, with some requiring a bit of extra charm or knowledge. Read on, and let those romances blossom!

10 Ann Takamaki

One of the first characters you really get to know in Persona 5, it's quite easy to romance Ann. When you've got her social link, you'll find her in the Underground Mall in Shibuya. Simply keep hanging out with her, and raise the social link to level 9. You'll need to be at least rank 2 in kindness to continue with it, but when you have that, the option will be very obvious.

9 Makoto Niijima

A character that most players seem to grow to love, Makoto is also relatively easy to romance. Once she's joined your team, and you've unlocked her social link, you can find her outside the library on the school's third floor most days. As her social link requires leveled-up Charm, it can be tricky to level, but once you get the social link to level 9, you'll once again be given a relatively obvious relationship option.

8 Futaba Sakura

Futaba is probably the most difficult main character to romance. You'll need to get your Kindness level all the way up to level 4 to have a chance! Whenever she texts you to hang out, do it! You can also find her outside Cafe Leblanc from time to time. When your social link with her hits level 9 (after completing her Mementos request), you'll be given the chance to romance her.

7 Haru Okumura

Maybe the easiest character to romance, Haru can be found on the school rooftop once she's been unlocked. You'll have to wait until 10/30 to start things off though. All you need to do is keep hanging out with her, and once her social link hits level 7, you'll be given the option to date her.

6 Tae Takemi

Romancing this goth doctor requires some specific choices, and is easily missed out upon. First, you need to get your social link with her to level 8, which requires level 2 Guts and level 4 Charm. Once this is done, complete her quest, "Bad Medicine." When you hit level 9, you need to say three key pieces of dialog to her. In the first set, say "I wanted to see you," in the second "I love you" (darn quick, I know), and in the final one "it isn't a joke." If you pick the other option in any of the dialogs, you'll just be friends.

5 Sadayo Kawakami

The ethics of dating your teacher are somewhat blurry (to put it mildly), but if you want to do it, here's how. Once you unlock her social link, you'll be able to call her around to your room to clean it, but this requires level 3 Guts. If you can do that, keep doing it and you'll unlock her Mementos request, "A Teacher Maid To Suffer," at level 8. Complete this, and you'll get the dialog to rank up to level 9. Like Takemi, you need to pick some specific dialog here. First, you need to say "I want to keep seeing you," then "I mean what I say," and finally "I'm a man; you're a woman."

4 Hifumi Togo

If you like a girl with a strategic mind, then Hifumi is the one for you. A master Shogi player, you hear about her in June, and after that, she can be found at the church in Kanda. To get beyond rank 8, you'll need Charm at level 3 and Knowledge at level 5. Once you get to rank 7, you'll unlock her Mementos request called "Upstaging the Stage Mother." Complete it and keep seeing her, and you'll hit Rank 9, where once again, you'll need to select some key dialog. These are, in order, "I want to stay by your side," and "I want us to date."

3 Chihaya Mifune

Well, well, well, if it isn't the most infuriating character in the game. Once you've unlocked her, and paid 100,000 Yen for a crystal made of salt, you'll be able to start working with her. Complete her first Mementos request, then at rank 2, select the dialog options "encourage her" and "overturn your fate." For rank 3, select "follow his heart" and "thieves may steal her away."

After this, progress with her like you would any other social link. At rank 7, you'll get her other Mementos request, "Debunking the Psychic." Complete it and hit rank 8. Go back to her for the dialog that enables romance, and select the option "so I can be with you." Enjoy, it wasn't worth it.

2 Ichiko Ohya

This journalist loves one thing more than anything else, and that's hanging out in Shinjuku's Crossroads bar. Simply hang out with her to build your social link with her, and when you hit level 7, you'll get her Mementos request "Fighting for Truth in Journalism." Complete it, and you'll get to level 8, but it's in the next leveling up conversation that you'll need to select some key options.

The first response you'll need to pick is "I took it seriously" and then "I love you, Ichiko." Simple enough, right?

1 A Note On Dating

If you want, you can date more than one girl at a time in Persona 5. However, while not explicitly barring you from it, the game will give you some consequences for it. If you're going to cheat on a girl with several others at once, what can we say...Valentine's Day will certainly be an interesting one for you, should you follow that path. Oh, and you can't break up with a girl, so choose wisely, if you want to be monogamous.
